best boys expands fleet with two UHD OB vans

Two new outside broadcast vans with 24 camera units and an IP backbone enter regular service for the 2025 season.

best boys is investing in two new outside broadcast vans. Both vehicles are fully IP-based, support 24 camera units and produce in UHD/HDR – and in parallel HD-SDR for classic broadcast paths when needed.

That means six OB vans are now available for simultaneous productions.

IP backbone: the same signal paths for sport, show and corporate.

The setup allows quick switches between sport, show and corporate productions without re-patching the signal paths. First deployments are planned for the summer season.
